Earth Champions Discovery Day

The Earth Champions initiative recognises that education, i.e. building of awareness to environmental problems and solutions, is the key to conservation of our shared environment. For example in Switzerland, the Earth Champions Team organised a special Earth Champions Discovery Day where the community had an opportunity to meet with the local Earth Champions at the World Conservation Union (IUCN).

Virgin Launch Party – Solutions for Climate Change

Sir Crispin Tickell, Al Gore (Nobel Prize winner) and Sir Richard Branson at the launch of the Virgin Launch of a competition to discover the best solutions for Climate Change.

Sir Crispin Tickell is the Chairman of the Earth Champions Knowledge Pond which evaluates the nominations for outstanding examples of sustainable solutions and practices internationally.
